- Professors were very good and knowledgeable. I would prefer if there were more reading material to support the lectures, as we only had one that was introductory to the EU. A lot of content was taught in total, which many other students complained about, but I think it was fine as all this information was necessary for understanding and we were not tested on it. The students helping out, Eric and Alina, were both very nice and helpful. The appartment in Vienna was fantastic.
- I like the fusion of sightseeing and having lessons. The pacing was fine. I loved the classrooms (esp the 1st one, it is very conducive).
- This course taught me a lot, not only about Europe and its relations with the EU, as well as working together as a team and looking out for eachother. Moreover, it was really interesting to gain both perspectives from Europeans and Singaporeans on current affairs such as counter-terrorism. The lecturers were very effective in making us think, both inside and out of the classroom. I enjoyed this course very much.
- I made friends and it also allowed me to see how Europeans view Asia. I like the free time after class that we could make use to explore the place.
- The course offered covers a wide range but continuing and well-organized. I really want to thank this programme for concerning the interest and requirements of all students participating. Different professors from different background were giving us lessons, which is another reason making this course interesting. In general, the diversity and broad range went beyond what I initially expected and I enjoyed them.
- It covers a wide range of topics, from economics to politics, so it is interesting!
- Great introduction to the EU. A bit too content heavy though.
- I really like all the extra activities that were planned for us except for the Opera since there were no English subtitles. The lectures were well organized.
- The tutors and lecturers were really friendly and they were willing to listen to our concerns.
The course could have been tuned down a notch, given that it was to cater to students with very different backgrounds, not necessarily from a political science background.
Lessons were nicely paced though quite a broad scope was covered over a very short span of 3 weeks
- I enjoyed the field trips as well as group activities during the lessons as they are more interactive.
- I like that there are guest speakers involved and trips to introduce us to the city/cities around were organised.
- The course had infused both studies and sightseeing, something which I feel is very unique and interesting. I love the things discussed, at times the content gets dry due to too much content discussed or something which I have no content about.
- The lecturers were really knowledgable and could help me understand the functions of the EU better.
- Interesting and worthy but had too much content in relative short time frame.
